Berniece E. Haraseth was born November 26, 1932 in Loma, ND the daughter of the late Oscar and Gladys (Johnson) Haraseth. She married Allen H. Myrvik on January 15, 1954 at Devils Lake, ND. The couple lived in Lander, WY for three months then returned to Fairdale, ND. They lived in Fairdale until 1965, when started farming near Nekoma, ND. In 1994 the couple retired and in 1996 they moved back into Fairdale. She worked as a substitute mail carrier for her husband for 13 years.

Darlene Hovland
Darlene Hovland, 81, passed away after a brief illness, surrounded by her family, on March 19th, 2013, in Gold Canyon, AZ. She was born on November 10th, 1931, in Northwood, ND to Selma (Kloster) & Henry Hanson. She graduated from Northwood High School and was then employed by the First National Bank of St. Paul, MN.
Darlene married her husband of 63 years, Harvey Hovland, on March 25th, 1950. They farmed in the Northwood area for over 40 years before retiring to Detroit Lakes, MN and Surprize, AZ. Darlene was very active in Ebenezer Lutheran Church and other community organizations. She only saw the good in others, and everyone she met was welcomed with a smile. Darlene lived a rich and full life centered around her family, and enjoyed golf, pottery, word puzzles and spending time with family and friends.

Age 65 of Osceola, WI, passed away on March 26, 2013. She was born on March 28, 1947 in Northwood, ND to parents Peder & Helen Haga. She graduated from Northwood High School in 1965. Janice then received her BS Elementary Education degree from Mayville State University in Mayville, ND in 1968. She married John O. Lee on July 24, 1969 in Webster, SD and spent 35 years as a teacher. Janice's #1 priority was family, especially enjoying her grandchildren. Her hobbies have been volunteering at church and for the American Cancer Society. She loved traveling with John. She also enjoyed collecting manger scenes, feeding the birds, and gardening. Making puzzles kept her busy. Janice is preceded in death by parents, 4 aunts, and 4 uncles. She is survived by husband of 43 years John; sons Mark (Susie) & Michael (Amy); grandchildren Abbie, Logan, Garrett, & Brianna; siblings Roger Haga, Jean Krueger, Lois Robson, Luann Brooks & their families; 1 aunt, 1 uncle, many cousins; many dear friends and her faith family at Peace Lutheran Church.
