Norrine D. Rockstad
Norrine D. Rockstad, age 84, of Fisher, MN, died Monday, May 13, 2013 at Riverview Health in Crookston. Norrine was born on August 19, 1928 in Ada, MN, daughter of William and Eleanor (Zenner) Lundon. She grew up and was educated at Ada, graduating from high school there. She was united in marriage with Richard Donald Rockstad on December 2, 1947 in Ada. They moved to Halstad, Minnesota, where they lived until moving to Fisher, Minnesota, fifty-nine years ago. She enjoyed baking and crocheting.
Norrine is survived by two daughters and three sons: Sandy Pfannenstein of St. Cloud, Nancy Olek of Fargo, Greg (Loretta) Rockstad of East Grand Forks, Rick Rockstad of Fisher, and David Rockstad of St. Cloud; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild; siblings: Dick (Betty) Lundon of Dilworth, Phyllis (Clayton) Drake of Fargo, Dorothy (Hank) Aaby of Twin Valley, Ellen (Ronald) Holtman of Crookston, and Joanie (Mark) Chisholm of Gary. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Eleanor Lundon; a brother: William Lundon; her husband: Richard Rockstad in 1997; a son: Phillip Rockstad; and a grandson: Nathan Rockstad.

Ellen M. Gebhardt
Ellen M. Gebhardt, wife of Marvin H. Gebhardt and a former long-time resident of the Grand Forks area, died peacefully at a Jamestown nursing home on May 6, 2013, from congestive heart disease. Ellen was born in New Rockford, N.D., on 11 January 1923, the middle child of seven. She was married to Marvin H. Gebhardt in Fargo in June 1945, and came with him to Grand Forks in the summer of 1947.
The Gebhardt family moved to the Riverside Park area in 1953 and lived there for about 25 years. Ellen was very active in Wilder School PTA, Cub Scouts, and church activities, both as a supporter and small group leader. They raised three sons in their Riverside Park home - David, James, and John.
