BRAD SCHLOSSMAN: The new norm in college hockey
Soon after Minnesota lost its first-round NCAA tournament game to Yale University, a media member asked coach Don Lucia if this was comparable to “Holy Cross.” Obviously, he hadn’t been paying close attention to college hockey lately. It was an atmosphere unlike anything that Lou Nanne has seen — before or since — in his long career in hockey.
