Arlene M. Hoaas
Arlene M. Hoaas age 86 of East Grand Forks, MN passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Villa St. Vincent Nursing Home in Crookston, MN.
Arlene M. Hoaas was born on April 12, 1926 the daughter of John and Olga (Olson) Ranum in Rosewood, MN. Arlene grew up in Thief River Falls, MN and worked for Montgomery Wards Department in Thief River Falls until she married Lester R. Hoaas on October 3, 1952. They moved around the area as Les was in the construction industry. Arlene was a homemaker until 1960 when she became employed with Norby’s Department Store in Grand Forks, ND. In 1963 she began work for the 1st National Bank as a teller then a bookkeeper until her retirement in April of 1986. Sadly on June 16th, 1975 Les passed away due to ALS. Arlene continued to live in East Grand Forks until moving to the Villa St. Vincent in Crookston, MN.

Clifford Nickolas Wilker
Clifford Nickolas Wilker, 85, of Meniffe, CA passed away of natural causes Feb. 25, 2013 at his home in Menifee. He was born May 31, 1927 in Grafton, ND to Matilda (Heuchert) Wilker and Norman Wilker. He graduated from Grand Forks High School on May 31, 1945.

Funeral Services for Eldor Erbele of Roseau, and formerly of Grand Forks, ND, will be held on Monday, March 11 at Helgeson Funeral Chapel in Roseau at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Helgeson's in Roseau.
Eldor Herbert Erbele, the son of Bertha (Hartwig) and Jacob Erbele was born on January 7, 1928 in Beulah, ND. He attended school and graduated from Golden Valley High School. He then served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii.
