Nereus and Achilleus Catholic Church, Neche, ND. Visitation will be held Monday, March 4th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church.
Survived by five children; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one brother.

Violet Jeanette Halvorson was born in Hampden, N. Dak. on March 25, 1926 to Peder and Clara Bjorland. She lived in Hampden until her marriage to Arvin Halvorson in 1943 and since then has lived in Bagley, Mn., Grand Forks and Fargo, N.D.
She leaves children Myrna(Ole) Lillestolen, East Hartland, CT; Janet Mager-Hansen, Mesa, AZ; Alan(Toni)Halvorson, Casselton, ND.: 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; brother Orlen Bjorland , Jamestown, N.D, sister-in-law Edna Halvorson, Bagley, MN, several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

John M. "Jack" Woods
John M. “Jack” Woods, age 82 of Forest River, ND passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks.
John M. Woods was born August 10, 1930 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Walter and Myra (Jamieson) Woods. He graduated from Forest River High School in 1948 and attended the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND and later attended the North Dakota Agricultural College in Fargo. He served in the United States Army, serving in Korea. Following his discharge in 1954 he returned to Forest River. Jack was united in marriage to Margaret Roe on July 30, 1955 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ardoch, ND. The couple made their home in Forest River where Jack farmed with his brother Robert until retiring in 1993.

Deborah A. Conn, 54, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 in Altru Hospital after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Deborah Anne Larson was born October 4, 1958 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Donald and Marilyn (Swangler) Larson. She was raised in Grand Forks and graduated from Grand Forks Central High School in 1976. Deborah married Jon C. Conn on June 9, 1979 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Grand Forks. She was employed with the K-Mart in Grand Forks for over 20 years until retiring after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She was a generous person, a loving wife/mother and she loved her animals. She enjoyed gardening; watching and cheering for the UND Fighting Sioux, NASCAR and her favorite NFL team the Chicago Bears. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and especially her adoring pets.
