Minnesota woman suffers burns in camp fire accident
Morrison County sheriff's deputies say a woman has suffered burns in a campfire accident. Authorities say 44-year-old Kristi Kooima Stroeh of Luverne was using camping fuel on a fire in Scandia Valley Township Tuesday evening. A gust of wind blew fuel on her and she caught fire.

Twisters land near Northwood
Two tornadoes touched down near Northwood, N.D., during a storm that moved through Grand Forks County Wednesday night. One of the twisters caused small-limb damage to shelter belts 6 miles northeast of Northwood while the other broke tree trunks in half and uprooted one tree 7 miles northeast of the town, according to Greg Gust, meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Grand Forks.

East Grand Forks council gives sewage project another go
The East Grand Forks City Council voted Tuesday to seek a state grant that could fund a project to transfer city sewage to Grand Forks for treatment. Under the terms of the grant, the state would pay half of the projects it selects to fund. The cost of connecting to the Grand Forks sewage system under the Red River is estimated at $8 million. The deadline to apply is June 26.
