Stephen David Haupt
Stephen David Haupt, 83, passed away April 3, 2013 in his home in Manassas, Virginia.

He was born in the family home in Stephen, Minnesota and was the seventh child of Louis and Amanda Haupt. He grew up and attended school in Stephen, graduating in 1948. In 1949 he joined the Navy, and retired after 20 years of active duty as a Chief Petty Officer. In 1971 he began a second career as a civilian at the Pentagon, retiring as a Computer Specialist in 1986.

After marrying Garnet Mountain in 1943, her early years were spent on the family farm working & raising five kids. After Garnet passed away in 1963, she met & married David Quaife in 1967. They lived in Park River for a time before settling in Neche, ND.
