Alyce McMillan
Alyce McMillan, age 91, of Larimore, ND, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Larimore Good Samaritan Center.

Alyce was born August 5, 1921 in Petersburg, ND, the daughter of Hans and Mary (Donnelly) Wangen. She grew up on a farm and attended school in the Petersburg area and later went to Larimore High School. Alyce took accounting classes and was later employed at A & L Potato Co. in East Grand Forks, MN as a bookkeeper.

Villa Vista ski resort was going strong at Turtle River State Park near Arvilla, N.D., 50 years ago, but in January 1963, it needed more snow to stay open.
