Rodney Webster
Rodney Webster, 81, of Pembina, died Thursday, January 10, 2013, at his home in Casa Grande, AZ. Rodney Walter Webster was born March 25, 1931, the son of William and Clara (Moris) Webster at Hallock, MN. He grew up on a farm near St. Vincent where he attended school, and graduated from the NW School of Agriculture in Crookston, MN in 1949.
He married Jean Anderson on April 1, 1950, in Crookston. They lived in St. Vincent Township, Kittson County, MN, where they farmed. They moved to Pembina in 1983. They celebrated 51 years of marriage before Jean passed away. Rodney was a farmer and loved to visit. His main crops were sugarbeets, grain and beans but he was not afraid of trying new things. He was a director for American Crystal, Red River Valley Sugarbeet Growers Association, Minn-Dak Growers, several elevators and both the North Star Church and Pembina Evangelical Free Church. He enjoyed fishing and golfing in his spare time. January 24, 2003, Rodney married Clarice (Wold) Gustafson of Oregon City, Oregon. Rodney and Clarice enjoyed spending time with their great grandchild, grandchildren, children, siblings and friends.
