Nordis A. Lindholm
Nordis A. Lindholm, 87, of Grand Forks, ND, formerly of Johnstown, ND, died March 20, 2013 at 4000 Valley Square Woodside Village.
Nordis A. Lindholm was born October 18, 1925, the daughter of the late Christian and Nora Olson, at Broderick, Saskatchewan, Canada. She grew up in the area of Green Valley Lutheran Church and Wheat Plains public school, where she was confirmed in the Lutheran faith and graduated from high school in June 1942. She entered nursing training in February, 1944 at General Hospital, Regina Sask., graduating with her R. N. degree in February, 1947. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at the General Hospital, Regina, and St. Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon, Sask. until moving to Minneapolis, MN in 1950. There she was employed at the University of Minnesota Hospital.

Alpha Mae Aaser
Alpha Mae Aaser, 90, of McVille, ND, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Nelson County Health System-Care Center in McVille.
Alpha was born June 6, 1922 near Pekin, ND the daughter of Adolph and Anna Marie (Thompson) Lysne. She grew up at the family farm south of McVille. Alpha graduated from Pekin High School and worked for a time in Fargo, ND before returning to the McVille area. She married Morris Aaser on June 3, 1945 after Morris returned from WWII, and they began farming on the Lysne family farm. They were married 67½ years. In 1977 they moved to their new home in McVille.
