Man accused in kidnap/assault located in Anoka County
A fugitive accused in Pope County of kidnapping and beating his ex-girlfriend has been arrested in Anoka County. Pope County Sheriff Timothy Riley said Wednesday authorities arrested the 39-year-old man after he was spotted in a car in Anoka County Tuesday evening.

Robin Hensel's lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court, says the city violated her constitutional right to free speech last fall by ordering her to remove the signs, which supported the Occupy Wall Street and peace movements.

Bill Hilty said many of his colleagues will be back next year and “carrying on, which makes my decision easier.” And John Kriesel called his time in the House “crazy.” The three and 20 other Minnesota House representatives are leaving after this session, along with 13 senators.
