Summer fun at Summerthing
As young Gunnar Larkin approached the T-ball stand Thursday afternoon in University Park, plastic bat in hand, two things were evident. First, Gunnar and the bat were the same height. Second, for a toddler, the kid has a pretty good swing. Gunnar, 23 months old, and his mother, Jadie Johnson, were enjoying the second day of Summerthing-Kids, an annual event sponsored by the Grand Forks Park District in University Park, now in its 31st year.
