Water or not, the show must go on
For more than 80 years, a rural theater here hosted graduations, church services, gatherings and performances. This year, the setting stands empty, save for the remnants of the tousled auditorium seating, a broken stage and a curtain with water marks waist high.

Inkster, N.D., marks 125 years
The community’s 125th anniversary didn’t exactly sneak up on people here. But there hadn’t been much talk about it, at least until sometime this past spring, when members of Faith Lutheran Church decided to commemorate the church’s 125th anniversary. Both the church and town were founded in 1884. So, they set aside this weekend to celebrate the past 125 years and to look toward the future.

'THE BIG ONE'? Is swine flu next global epidemic ... or a flu that fizzles?
As reports of a unique form of swine flu erupt around the world, the inevitable question arises: Is this the big one?
