PREP SOCCER: Sandvold sends Minot to semis
Minot goalkeeper MaKayla Sandvold didn’t have time to celebrate after stuffing Fargo North’s fifth and final kick to keep the shootout score even. That’s because she was up next to kick. Sandvold made the key save and followed by booting the game-winner to lead the Magicians to a shootout victory over Fargo North after a 1-1 tie couldn’t be solved through two sudden death overtimes on Thursday in the North Dakota state quarterfinals at Cushman Field.

Ada settles flood project
Town delayed protection during years of high water
After 15 years, it’s finally Ada’s turn for flood protection.
