Earl G. "Butch" Keller
Earl"Butch"Keller,91, passed away peacefully surrounded by family May 11,2013. Earl was born Aug 14,1921 in Grand Forks. He owned Keller's Cities Service on So. Washington for 35 years. He also worked at the GF Post Office until retirement. Earl was proud to be a veteran in the US Army (1942-46). He attended Gunnery School in Las Vegas. He was later stationed at Boeing Field in Seattle.
Earl enjoyed lots of sports, but was especially passionate about UND hockey, Twins baseball, car races & keeping up with the Great Grandchildren's activities.

Donald (Sime) Simenson
Donald J. (Sime) Simenson, 84, of Grand Forks, ND passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.
Donald James Simenson was born July 11, 1928 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Albert and Marie (Fortin) Simenson. He worked on his father’s farm until moving to Grand Forks in his late teens. Donald married Donna Janes on June 12, 1949 at United Lutheran Church in Grand Forks. They made their home in Grand Forks and Donald worked at Bridgeman Creamery. Donald made a career working for the Post Office and retired after 30 years of service. During that time he was awarded the “Super Achievement Award”. He also worked part time at his brothers Pepsi Plant.

The moose had hung around town for about 10 weeks in the winter and early spring. Authorities believed they had finally shooed her out of town for good about two weeks ago. However, she showed up inside the city limits again this week, on Tuesday and Thursday.
