She was preceded in death by husband Orvin. She is survived by sons Alan (Maureen), Jerry (Diana), grandchildren Alison and Neil. She lived most of her childhood near Bygland Minnesota. She married Orvin in 1950 and 2 years later they moved to the Seattle area where she spent the rest of her life (60+ years). Though she spent most of her time in Washington a piece of her never left the Grand Forks area. She talked often of her brothers and sisters and of course the cold winters and summers picking potatoes. The vacations we took back to North Dakota were most precious. Like most of her generation there were 2 things in life; family and hard work. When her sons grew up and moved out she returned to work at an adult care home and later in a machine shop. During her retired life she camped, fished with Dad and later played bingo and spent time at the local casino’s. She got to play the slots for the last time a few weeks ago. Alan and Jerry along with the rest of the family will miss her dearly, thank you Mom for always being there. Peace be with you Mom (fred vaere med deg mamma). There will be no funeral services, immediate family will gather to celebrate
