After Stephen "Skip" Rucinski's death, the Grand Forks Airport Authority approved naming the facility’s new maintenance building for him. Skip passed away on a Saturday and by that Monday morning, Patrick Dame, the airport’s executive director, had three employees ask if the building could be named for Rucinski.
