The Grand Forks City Council approved a request Monday that sets the stage for this year’s Springfest. Grand Forks restaurant Rhombus Guys, this year’s sponsor of Springfest, was granted a noise variance and special license to sell alcoholic beverages at University Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the May 9 event.
