Jose A. Soto, now a resident of Texas, was indicted today in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis on 17 counts of production of child pornography. Soto allegedly coerced four girls into “engaging in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing visual depictions of such conduct,” according to the U.S. attorney’s office in Minneapolis.

CLOUD, Minn. — The St. Cloud Times reports that Minnesota transportation officials decided to close and replace a bridge over the Mississippi River in St. Cloud even though a consultant said it would be adequate to fix it.
