Suzanne “Sanny” Ryan, who led the North Dakota Museum of Art for many years and made contributions to numerous local organizations, died at home Friday at the age of 89.

Altru to open disease prevention center
Altru Health System said Tuesday that it plans to open a disease-prevention center at the Choice Health & Fitness facility in Grand Forks. The project was made possible with a donation to the Altru Health Foundation from Suzanne “Sanny” Ryan, the mother of Altru President Casey Ryan.

Proceeds will help support the works of Father Jack Davis, a native of Devils Lake, who with Sister Peggy Byrne, has served as a missionary to the people of Chimbote, Peru.
