Motorist reports Monday fire
A passing motorist noticed a house on fire along Roseau County Road 11 about 1.5 mile west of Roosevelt, Minn., about 1:45 p.m. Monday, and called it in. The Warroad Fire Department, the Roseau County Sheriff’s Office and the Warroad Ambulance responded. Firefighters put out the fire with “moderate damage” to the house. The investigation into what caused the fire isn’t complete, said the sheriff’s office.
