BOYS HOCKEY: Red River falls in opener
There will be no undefeated regular season for the Grand Forks Red River boys hockey team this season. Fargo Davies defeated the Roughriders 4-3 in Eastern Dakota Conference play on Tuesday at Scheels Arena.

Mack Graham, former publisher of the Devils Lake Daily Journal and founder of the restaurant MacJohn’s (now Felix’s) has died in Arizona on Saturday, May 2, 2009 after a two-month struggle with cancer. He was 70 years old.
