Evelyn Honkola

Evelyn R. Honkola, our Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma passed away on March 18, 2013 at Valley Memorial Homes Eldercare Center, Grand Forks. We were lucky to have her until she was 93.

She was a strong, independent, and funny woman. We are thankful we have so many great memories of times we shared with her. We will miss her every day for the rest of our lives.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Ron; daughters Judy Bjorge (Richard), Linda Winge (Dave), and Connie Rowe (Steve); 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill and her daughter, Carol.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks with visitation one hour prior to the service.

So sorry for your loss. She was a very strong woman, and I loved her sense of humor. You all took such good care of her, just as she took care of you when you were small. My heart goes out to you. She will be missed. Take care, April & Bill Garster
