To the Alvestad family- I am so sorry to hear about Kathy's passing. :( Kathy was my mentor and trained me in when I was a new nurse. I couldn't ask for a better example to model and strive to be more like. Kathy was very loving and kind and was very nurturing. I remember sharing a picture and an article with her in the Herald when I started working as a new nurse. :) I only have wonderful and happy memories of Kathy. She was so proud of her husband, kids, and grandchildren. Those people were the loves of her life. I miss her dearly and will always remember her fondly. God bless!
