Wilma Marie Schneibel, 79, passed away Monday, March 5, 2013 at her home in East Grand Forks, MN.Wilma Marie Berglund was born August 10, 1933 to William and Alice (Desrosier) Berglund in Crookston, MN. She attended school in Crookston and was married to George Schneibel on October 16, 1951 in Grand Forks, ND. Wilma worked for Old Dutch for 17 years, Charlie’s Bakery for 3 years, and Valley Memorial Hospital for 10 years before her retirement in 1997.

Wilma Marie Berglund was born August 10, 1933 to William and Alice (Desrosier) Berglund in Crookston, MN. She attended school in Crookston and was married to George Schneibel on October 16, 1951 in Grand Forks, ND. Wilma worked for Old Dutch for 17 years, Charlie’s Bakery for 3 years, and Valley Memorial Hospital for 10 years before her retirement in 1997.
Wilma is survived by her children: Joni (Joe) Riske, Fisher, MN; Christine Schneibel, Hallock, MN; Bertha (Robin) Burdick, Idaho Falls, ID; Paul (Julie) Schneibel, Manvel, ND; David Schneibel, East Grand Forks; and a brother, William Allen Berglund, Idaho Falls; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband George on July 26, 2005; grandson Bradley Riske; step-grandson, James Hutton; brother, Gerald Berglund; and two sisters: Shirley Ekren and Lucille Poltiski.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Funeral Service: Saturday, March 9, 10:30 AM at Dahl Funeral Home, East Grand Forks.
Visitation: One hour prior to services at the funeral home
