FARGO, N.D. - Joe Martindale, 76, Cavalier, N.D., died Monday in Sanford Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., Friday at Cavalier (N.D.) Presbyterian Church. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Arrangements by Askew Funeral Home in Cavalier.

We became friends back in 1966 while we were living in the East Grand Forks Fire Hall. Really enjoyed visiting with Joe. Over the years we would run into each other and talk about the fire hall days as volunteers. Last summer we crossed paths in Bottineau, ND at a local gas station. I think he just had some surgery.
