CROOKSTON, Minn. - Rev. Orlin E. Ness, 87, Crookston, died Saturday in Villa St. Vincent Nursing Home .
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Crookston. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Fisher (Minn.) Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Arrangements by Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home in Crookston.

My prayers and thoughts are with Pastor Ness' family. Although he didn't baptize me at Drayton Lutheran Church, he was the first pastor there that I remember. He was a kind, gentle man, and was well liked by everyone. He is now with Our Father and those who have gone before him.
