Alva M. Renner

Alva M. Renner, 78, Fargo went to her heavenly home on February 12, 2013 at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo.

She was born July 3, 1934 in Richardton, North Dakota to Mike and Eleanor (Gress) Renner. She grew up and attended school in Felton, MN. She attended high school at Mount St. Benedict Academy in Crookston, MN, graduating in 1953. She then went on to graduate from Dakota Business College. She worked for the Fargo Forum for a number of years.

She was born July 3, 1934 in Richardton, North Dakota to Mike and Eleanor (Gress) Renner. She grew up and attended school in Felton, MN. She attended high school at Mount St. Benedict Academy in Crookston, MN, graduating in 1953. She then went on to graduate from Dakota Business College. She worked for the Fargo Forum for a number of years.

One of Alva’s many passions was playing the piano. She had an enthusiastic style which made it very easy to listen to.

Alva is survived by her siblings; Joyce Nelson, Grand Forks, ND, Shirley (Alvin) Bertsch, Hillsboro, ND, Doreen (Lee) Payne, Argusville, ND, Michael (Diana) Renner, Fargo, ND, and James (Diane) Renner, Felton, MN, brother-in-law, DuWayne Engness, West Fargo, ND and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Vernette Engness and brother-in-law, Gordon Nelson.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo with visitation starting at 12:00 P.M.

Lunch will be served following the service in Boulger Funeral Home's Celebration of Life Center, Fargo.
