Jeffrey Lynn Bjerke

Jeffrey Bjerke, 58, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013, at the VA Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Jeff was born September 19, 1954 to Ormand and Marian Bjerke in Grand Forks. He graduated from Central High School in 1972.

Jeffrey Bjerke, 58, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013, at the VA Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Jeff was born September 19, 1954 to Ormand and Marian Bjerke in Grand Forks. He graduated from Central High School in 1972.

Jeff enlisted in the US Army in November 1973, he served until November 1975 and was stationed in Germany. After his Army career, Jeff was hired as a letter carrier in 1976 for the US Postal Service in Grand Forks. Jeff continued working for the US Postal Service until his retirement in 2006.

Jeff is survived by his wife Debbie; daughter Kristen (Jensen) Carino and granddaughter Avery Carino, all of Las Vegas, NV; brothers Richard, Fargo, and Brian, East Grand Forks, MN; sister DeAnn (Grant) Purcell, Grand Forks, and his parents also of Grand Forks.

Jeff was preceded in death by daughter Lindsey Bjerke.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
