James J. Ginter, 51, Grand Forks, ND passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.James Joseph Ginter was born on June 1, 1961 the son of Julian and Eleanor (Hendrickson) Ginter in Warren, MN. He was a 1979 high school graduate from Oslo, MN. After high school, Jim worked for area farm operations. He was employed at RDO Foods, Grand Forks for 15 years and was currently working for LM Wind Power at the time of his passing.

Jim was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and sports. He was also an avid reader.
He is survived by his mother, Eleanor, Grand Forks, ND; sisters, Betty Wagner, Lake Elmo, MN, Diane (Casey) Curtiss, Billings, MT and Julie (Brian) Lee, Grand Forks, ND; brothers, Michael, Oslo, MN and Robert Grand Forks, ND; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Julian and a brother, David.
Mass of Christian Burial: 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 in St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday with a 7:10 p.m. rosary service and a 7:30 p.m. vigil service in Gregory J. Norman – The Historic Norman Funeral Home, Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will continue for one hour prior the liturgy in the church on Saturday.
Interment: St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, Warsaw, ND in the spring.
