James W. Winzer, 76, Grand Forks, ND went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 12, 2013.
James was born November 4, 1936 to Paul and Olga (Muth) Winzer.
He worked 43 years for the North Dakota Department of Transportation in maintenance.
James was proud of his yard and loved flowers. He also enjoyed polka music, Christian music and loved to play cards.
He married Lois Stark on August 4, 1956. She survives along with children, Kelly (Nada) Winzer, Terry Winzer, Timothy (Mary) Winzer, Marlys (Chuck) Betts, Susan (Louis) Abner; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn (Duane) Ekren, Gilbert, AZ and Arlene Thomas, Fortuna, CA.
He was preceded in death by his son, Larry; his parents; brothers Herbert and Henry.
Memorial Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Calvary Community Church, 1917 S. Washington St. Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the church.
