Doris Mae Bossman, 91, of Warren, MN, passed away on Saturday morning, February 2, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren with her family by her side.

Doris Mae Bossman, 91, of Warren, MN, passed away on Saturday morning, February 2, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren with her family by her side.

Doris Mae Bengtson was born on February 15, 1921 in Warren. She was a lifelong resident of Warren where she attended school. Doris Mae was married to Arthur W. Bossman on December 21, 1937 in Warren. They made their home in Warren. She was an employee at the Marshall County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Department for 27 years. Doris Mae was also the secretary for the Veteran’s Service Officer in Western Marshall County for 15 years. Arthur died on December 8, 1997.

She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church and the Covenant Women Ministries. She took part in various activities of the church, which she loved doing. Doris Mae was a 50 year plus member of the Warren Legion Auxiliary and also served at the district level. She was also a member of the Warren Fireman’s Auxiliary. Doris Mae was active in many various community activities.

Left to mourn her passing are her two daughters, Patricia Hines of Moorhead, MN and Beryl (Ed) Palmer of Warren, MN; two sons, Robert (Deanne) Bossman and Arthur “Bill” Jr. (Yvonne) Bossman all of Warren, MN; fourteen wonderful grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and other family members who shared her love and generosity.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, John Bennett; grandson, Christofer Bossman; son-in-law, Kendall Truhn; three sisters; one brother and many other loved ones.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Warren, MN.

VISITATION: One hour before services at the church.

INTERMENT: Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, MN.
