Annie Weiss, 88, of Thompson, and formerly of Neche, ND, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at Valley Eldercare in Grand Forks, ND. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the funeral home for one hour before the time of servicesAnnie was born July 6, 1924, at Pembina, ND to Albert and Martha (Stegman) Sagert. She graduated from Pembina High School. After high school, Annie worked various jobs around the area. On April 23, 1948, she married Louis Weiss at Neche, ND. Louis passed away July 11, 2010. Annie loved gardening whether it was planting trees or flower gardens. She also enjoyed crocheting and quilting.

Annie is survived by her daughter, LuAnn (Tim) Kysilka, Thompson, ND, and grandchildren: Michon, Maggie, and MiKayla Kysilka; sister, Amy Latozke; brothers; Reinhold (Joyce) Sagert, Harold Sagert, and Kenny Sagert.
Also preceded her in death were her parents and sister, Dorothy Menke.
