Gloria U.
I worked with Dorothy in the College of Business at UND from 1980-85.I was new to town, new to UND, new to working after having children and becoming divorced. I worked in the Business and Voc. Ed. Dept. We had a good working relationship and she was always looking out for opportunities for me to advance at UND. She was known for being hard nosed, but, she had a lot on her plate back then and she wanted people to do their jobs correctly... Laurie was still at home with her. She always respected me and my work and wanted to help me advance and do well and she was helpful to me in that regard. As many of us wish we would do too late...I wish I had kept in touch with her more. She was very good to me, personally. I just saw that she passed away on Sunday evening, January 27.
