John Twedell

John W. Twedell, 82, passed away peacefully on December 22nd, 2012. John was born in Grand Forks, N.D. on April 15th, 1930. Before moving his family to Puyallup in 1965 he had served in the National Guard and U.S. Army. He retired from the Pierce County Herald as Circulation Manager to pursue his outdoor hobbies and to be with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Lois Twedell. Survivors include his son David Twedell, daughters Debra Culbertson and Gayle Pulliam, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Monday, 1/14/2013 at 10 AM at the Sumner United Methodist Church, 901 Wood Ave, Sumner, WA. Arrangements by Curnow Funeral Home.
