We remember your mom exactly as she looks in the picture. Our mom was a good friend of her's when we lived in Grand Forks. Not sure if you will remember us but we send our thoughts and prayers for your family.

Just wanted you to know that Susan, Marlys and I (Ardie) are sorry to hear of your moms passing. Only found out because Phyllis Thrall just emailed us about her health issues and in passing mentioned Arla's death. Susan is in Tucson, Marlys was in the twin cities over the holidays and I am about 100 miles west of Phoenix so we are kind of out of the loop. I always have to smile because when I think of your mom, the first thing that comes to mind is the "decorating" Uncle Arnie" would do at weddings; none to Aunt Minnie's likings. Your mom always had the decorations (toilet tissue) in her purse for these special occasions. We love each and everyone of you and have always tried to remind ourselves that you are cousins of the next generation - we think of you as our "first cousins" - because of all of the fun times we've had together. Love you all and maybe we'll be able to see some of you this next summer. Love, Susan, Marlys and Ardie(all right it's "tinker").
