Janet Mary Hendry, 58 years old, passed away December 12, 2012 at her home in Washougal, WA from cancer.

Janet Mary Hendry, 58 years old, passed away December 12, 2012 at her home in Washougal, WA from cancer.

Janet was born to Robert Hendry and Mary Lou (Jackson) Hendry January 29, 1954 in Grand Forks, ND. She graduated from Central High School in Grand Forks in 1972. After high school she attended the University of North Dakota and received her Masters Degree. She moved to the Northwest and was a Parole Office for Multnomah County for 25 years. After her retirement she worked part time as a counselor for troubled youth at Janus Youth Program.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Molly Eggleston of Washougal, WA, father Robert Hendry, sister Becky Hulett, brother Jon Hendry (Judy Hendry) all of Grand Forks, ND and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Janet was preceded in death by mother Mary Lou Hendry, brother Jim Hendry, Grandparents, Milfred and Margaret Hendry, Norman and Mabel Jackson.

Loved by all who knew her, stranger to none.

A memorial service will be held at Amundson Funeral Home on December 26th at 3:00pm.

Memorials should be directed to Molly Eggleston.

Janet was a childhood school mate and I am very sorry for the family
