Charles O. Hensrud, June 3, 1930 - December 7, 2012

Charles was born in Grand Forks, ND and grew up in Mekinock, ND. He graduated from Emerado School. In 1957 he married Jean Griffin. In 1968 Charles moved to Spokane, WA where he was employed by Darigold Dairy. He married Monica Jerret in 1972. Charles and Monica operated Crestline Auction and had a successful appliance repair shop. He is survived by his wife, son David (Cindy) Spokane, daughters Debbie (David) Aaland Northwood ND, Darcy (Mike) Isbey Spokane, Lorie Moreland Post Falls, Karen (Rikk) Harris, Spokane, sisters Patsy (Harlan) Rustad Oslo MN, Roberta Hensrud, Vancouver WA, 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Alice (Johnston) Hensrud, bother Allen, and granddaughter Angela Aaland. A celebration of Charlie's life was held on Dec. 16 at I.N.W.C., Spokane. Memorials can be made to the Spokane Humane Society, 6607 N Havana St, Spokane WA 99217.
