Leslie C. Gerloff, 68, Grand Forks, died at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, Friday, December 7, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.
Leslie was born in Williston, ND, on September 7, 1944, to Roy and Norma Shervold. She graduated from Williston High School, and then moved to Grand Forks in 1964.
She married Greg Gerloff in January 1973, and they were blessed with one son, Chad Edward.
She is survived by her husband, Greg Gerloff; son, Chad (Greta) Gerloff; granddaughter, Bailee Gerloff; sisters, Ranee Smith, and Rebecca (Robert) Linden; an uncle, aunts, many cousins, nieces and nephews, who have always been very special to her.
Leslie was preceded in death by her mother Norma Trulson; stepfather Jacob Trulson, and father Roy Shervold.
Memorial services for Leslie will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, 10:30 AM at Sharon Lutheran Church, 1720 20th St S, Grand Forks.
A memorial reception will be on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks.
Special thanks to Dr. Gomez, Dr. Walsh, Altru Cancer Center staff, Altru 6th floor nurses, and the staff at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Memorials are preferred to the Altru Cancer Center.

I HAD NOT SEEN LESLIE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS, BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE, LES ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HER FACE AND WAS A PLEASURE TO BE AROUND.
