Ida F. Romfo, 87, Grand Forks, ND died Monday, December 3, 2012 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND.

Ida Florence Clark was born May 18, 1925 near Leydon, ND, the daughter of William and Helen (Taylor) Clark. She was raised and educated near Walhalla, ND.

Ida married Sterling Romfo on March 16, 1962 at Hallock, MN. They lived and farmed near Walhalla until they retired and moved to Grand Forks in 1989.

Ida enjoyed flowers, yard work, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Elaine (Mike) Huot, Louisville, KY, Jerry (Kathy) Braaten, Grand Forks and Pam (Kevin) Gruhot, Grand Forks; grandchildren, Tearnie Braaten, Amber Reichstadt, Tasha Gruhot, Morgan Gruhot and Jana Diemert-Lagro; 4 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling in 2001; son, Sterling Jr.; brothers, Manuel, Joseph, Ross and William; sisters, Mae Eide, Irene Geiger and Martha Johnson.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 6, 2012 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks.

Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home.
