Lyle Olson Sr. age 75, formerly of Belcourt & Grand Forks, ND, passed away October 9, 2012 surrounded by his family. Lyle was employed as a roofer for Greenberg Roofing and Olson/Skinner Roofing. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching sports and loved being with his family and friends.
Survived by children, Lyle Jr. (Cindy) Olson and Brenda (Dale) Tuma; grandchildren, Bryan, Carisa (Jason); great-grandchildren, Tyson & Reese; brother, Floyd (Nancy) Olson; sister-in-law, Ulla Olson; several nieces and nephews; good friends, Earl, Roman (Holly), Ethel, Gary and Jeanette.
Lyle is preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Mabel (Swanson) Olson; sisters, Stella (Richard) Willerton & Lorraine (Bernard) Halvorson; brothers, Mervin & Chester and special friend, Mary Ann Ronning.
Funeral Service Wednesday 11 AM at Woodland Hills Church, 1740 Van Dyke Street, St. Paul, MN.
Visitation one hour prior to service.
Internment Bagley Cemetery, Bagley, MN at a later date.
