Phyllis (Winge) Dahl

Phyllis (Winge) Dahl, 88, of Kennedy, Minnesota died September 10, 2012 in Scottsdale, Arizona of pancreatic cancer.

She was born to Paul and Selma (Hennum) Winge at Donaldson, Minnesota on November 19, 1923. Phyllis married Willard Dahl on December 9, 1942. Her joy was her family and taking care of the farm that they built together. She was happiest at home working in her yard and loved being outdoors.

Survivors are her daughter, Sandra (Darrell) Benson; grandson, Darron (Kadie) Benson; granddaughter, Loree Robinson; great grandchildren, Jamie, Brandon, and Maggie Benson, Alyssa and Carter Robinson, Shane and Ashley Herseth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard in 1999; two sons at birth; a grandson, Troy in 1985; brothers, Kenneth and Murvin Winge; sisters, Audrey Arvesen and LaVonne Nelson.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Olaf Lutheran Church at Donaldson.

The Austin Funeral Home of Hallock is in charge of arrangements.
