Trista Fay Johnson was born October 18, 1984 in Williston to Steve and Debbie (Kueffler) Johnson. She was raised in Williston and baptized in the Lutheran faith. She attended school in Williston, graduating from Williston High School in 2003.
Trista moved to Grand Forks in 2009. She attended college at Northland Community and Technical College in Grand Forks to pursue her dreams of becoming a radiology technician. Trista worked for REM, where she assisted people living in a group home setting with their everyday lives. She had a place in her heart for the people she cared for, and they loved her in return.
