Joseph S. Greevers, age 72 of NE Mpls, MN passed away, Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at his home. Joseph Stanley Greevers was born, May 8, 1939 in Warsaw, ND the son of Barney and Helen (Lizakowski) Greevers. Joseph grew up and attended school in Minto, ND before entering a tour of duty with the Armed Forces. Upon his release, he moved to Minneapolis where he resided until his passing. He was a unique and special individual and will be extremely missed by his family and friends. His passion was plants and he enjoyed gardening. He was an avid reader and always a source for information.
He is survived by a sister, Leona (Jim) of Hollister, MO; brothers, Ray (Terry) of Hollister, MO, Larry (Eve) of Medinah, IL; as well as 15 nieces and nephews, and 15 great nieces and great nephews.
His passing is preceded by his parents, Barney & Helen Greevers; sister, Rose Ann (Mrs. Jim) Stewart; and brother, Hilary Greevers.
