Anna Sang

Anna Sang, 51, of Stephen, Minnesota died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 20, 2011 in Fargo, ND.

Anna Marie Peake was born July 2, 1960 in Ponsford, MN to George and Dorothy (Fineday) Peake. She grew up in Stephen and graduated from Stephen High School in 1978. She then attended Northland Community and Technical College for one year in the Accounting Program. After completing her education she began working at American Crystal Sugar Company in Drayton, ND. On September 19, 1981 she married Peter Sang at Strandquist, MN and settled in Stephen. Anna worked at Terog Manufacturing in Stephen for many years. Anna's favorite past occupation was working at Kroulik's Greenhouse and the 'green thumb' she developed stayed with her. She was currently employed at Arctic Cat in Thief River Falls, MN. She was also a member of the St. Stephen Catholic Church.

Anna was a beautiful woman inside and out who enjoyed the simple things in life. Her life was one of hard work, service, and love; she lived to help others. She was wholeheartedly dedicated to her children and family. One of her strongest attributes was her spirited sense of humor; her giggle was contagious. She also was a voracious reader of books, whether fiction or non fiction, she enjoyed them all. Her favorite author was Dean Koontz. In addition, she played on the local women's softball team for several years and participated in darts leagues throughout the area.

Family members include her children, Rachel Sang, St. Paul, MN, Jacob Sang, Moorhead, MN, Rebecca Sang, Fargo, ND and Jordan Sang, also of Moorhead, MN; brothers and sisters, George, David, Cecelia, Kaye, Kelly, Theresa and Tim; foster parents, Hilary and Julianna Kuznia, Florian, MN; and foster brothers and sisters, Mary, Char, Vince, Vernon, and Dennis. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Wanda and Dorothy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 26th, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stephen.

Interment will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church on Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.

The Austin Funeral Home of Stephen is in charge of arrangements.
