Vina P. Kamrowski, 71, of Andover, MN and formerly of Grand Forks, ND passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN.
Vina Pearl Wangen was born November 11, 1939 in Lancaster, MN the daughter of Eddy and Marguerite (Beck) Wangen. Vina married Edward Kamrowski on February 11, 1958 in Thief River Falls, MN. Following their marriage, they resided in Grand Forks. Edward preceded her in death on February 2, 2007. Vina was employed with Miller's Grocery in the baking department for several years. Later, she was employed with Valley Eldercare until her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, crafts, playing bingo, fishing and camping.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Lori) Kamrowski, Douglas (Judy) Kamrowski and Brian (Julie) Kamrowski, all of Grand Forks, ND; daughters, Charlene (Mark) Wenberg, Andover, MN and Shauna Fugleberg, Grand Forks, ND; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; her parents; a grandson, Jacob Wenberg; sisters, Evelyn Evenson and Patty Wangen; brothers, Leslie Wangen, Everett Wangen and Louis Wangen.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2011 in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday with a 4:30 p.m. rosary service and 7:00 p.m. vigil service in the Gregory J. Norman Funeral Chapel. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Tuesday.
Interment: Garden of the Evangelists Columbarium, Calvary Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
