Margery E. Wasylow, age 82 of Mekinock, ND passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Larimore, ND.

Margery Edith Thompson was born on October 10, 1928 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Melvin and Edith (McDonald) Thompson.

Margery grew up in rural Grand Forks and then attended and graduated from Grand Forks Central High School. On June 5, 1945 she was united in marriage to William Wasylow in Grand Forks, ND. Margery & William were dairy farmers all their married life. Margery enjoyed baking holiday treats, crafting, listening to gospel music, gardening, canning along with having a great ability of making wine.

Family members of Margery include her husband William of Good Samaritan Society of Park River, ND; children, William (Doris) Wasylow of Scottsboro, AL, Mary (Richard) Carlson of Mekinock, ND, James (Lila) Wasylow of Arco, ID, Kathleen (James) Weber of Hartford WI, Joane (Arthur) Wosick of Minto, ND, David (Kim) Wasylow of Mekinock, ND, Carol (Wade) Johnson of Mora, MN, Susan (Curt) Wanstrom of Moore, ID, Elizabeth (Karen Zimmermann) Wasylow of Corvallis, OR and Mark (Stacey) Wasylow of Pisek, ND; daughter-in-law, Theresa Wasylow of Grand Forks, ND along with 28 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Margery is preceded in death by her son Patrick Wasylow; her parents; 3 brothers, John, James and Willie Thompson; 4 sisters, Helen Vonasek, Mabel Barr, Beverly Morque and Janet Mathues.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Manvel, ND.

Visitation: 1 hour before Funeral Service on Saturday at St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Manvel, ND.

Interment: 2:30 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Calvary Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
