Thelma A. Rosvold, age 101, of Adams, ND, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the First Care Health Center of Park River, ND.

Thelma A. Rosvold was born September 10, 1909 in Norton Township, rural Adams, ND, the daughter of the late John and Ida (Mathison) Rosvold. She attended the Hoff School. After her schooling she worked on the family farm where she continued to live until 1977, when she moved into Adams.

Thelma played the organ in church for 80 plus years and continued to play until the time of her death. She crocheted hundreds of names for people all over the country; she made quilts and loved to bake. She was instrumental in having the Hoff School placed on the National Historic Register. Thelma was a grandma to all; neighbors and the foreign workers who lived in her apartment.

Thelma was a member of the Hoff Lutheran Church and WELCA, homemakers club and birthday club.

Thelma is survived by her cousins Lawrence Eshov, Elk Horn, IA; Roland (Martha) Eshov, Elk Horn, IA; Isabelle Sigraldson, Crosby, ND; Barbara Jesswein, Beulah, ND. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Henry.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at the Hoff Lutheran Church, rural Adams, ND.

Visitation will be Monday, March 28, 2011 from 5-7 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Friends may also call at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at the Hoff Lutheran Cemetery.
