Helen F. Lunski, 93, of Grand Forks, ND died Friday, February 25, 2011 in Valley Eldercare, Grand Forks, ND.

Helen Frances Lunski was born July 3, 1917 in rural Ardoch, ND, the daughter of Ignatz and Lillian (Czapiewski) Briski. Helen grew up and attended country school in Ardoch, ND. Helen married Isadore Lunski of October 18, 1937 in Warsaw, ND. They lived and farmed near Ardoch and Helen started the Forest River Café in 1982. In her later years she worked at Altru Hospital as a Foster Grandparent. She was also a member of the St. Johns Altar Society in Ardoch.

Helen was a member at Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Forks.

Helen is survived by: Sons: Earl Lunski – Manvel; Gary (Jeanne) Lunski – Grand Forks; Daughter: Elaine (John) McDonald – Forest River; Daughter-in-law: Harriet Lunski; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Isadore; son, Ernie; twelve brothers and sisters and her parents .

A funeral mass will be Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1405 South 9th St., Grand Forks.

Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 South 42nd St., Grand Forks.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in the spring.
