Les Schraeder age 57 of East Grand Forks, MN passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Leslie Ronald Schraeder was born June 23, 1953 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Oscar and Evelyn (Kyle) Schraeder. He grew up in Grand Forks and attended Grand Forks Central High School. He lived a short time in Colorado Springs, CO on a ranch. He returned to Grand Forks where he worked at Concrete Incorporated, Ryan Potato, Driscoll Brothers and currently for MinDak Growers, in Grand Forks. He married Peggy Aker in Sisseton, SD on December 18, 1976.

Les enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his Harley and bicycling with his grandson Logen

He is survived by his wife Peggy of East Grand Forks, 2 sons Les Aaron Schraeder of Williston, ND, Dean (June) Kassa, of East Grand Forks, daughter Kailee Schraeder of East Grand Forks, 3 grandchildren, Logen, Ronnie and Brandon, 1 sister, Roxanne Bechhold of East Grand Forks, 3 half sisters, Julie (Ray) Patnaude of Grand Junction, AZ, Sandy Morrison, of Fargo, ND and Nancy (Rick) Hegstrom of East Grand Forks, MN and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, half brother David Iverson, half sister Karen Brown, and 2 brothers in laws, Gary Bechhold and Jerry Morrison.

In Lieu of flowers Memorials are preferred.

Memorial Service: 2:30 PM, Friday, January 21, 2011 at the First Lutheran Church, 203 5th St. NW, East Grand Forks, MN.

Visitation: 5:00 -7:00 PM with a 6:30 PM Prayer Service, Thursday (Today), January 20, 2011 in Stennes funeral Home, East Grand Forks, MN and 1 hour before Memorial Service in First Lutheran Church.
